- The town of Swansea is located about 20 miles southwest of Columbia, SC.
- The marching band is made up of students from both the high school as well as Sandhills Middle School.
Received the first OPA in Swansea history for the 1999-2000 school year.
Participated in the Orlando Festival of Music March 3rd, 2000.
1999 2A South Carolina Marching Band Champions: Only band to win state the first year they qualified.
Grand Champions of both the 1999 Capital City Classic, and the 1999 Bamberg Low-Country Tournament of Bands.
Participated in the 1997 Carquest Bowl
